The reason is probably that my general attitude toward the show is more hesitation than not. I don't think it's for everyone, and in the particular case, I think I'd rather start with - here's why it's not for everyone, but here's why you should give it a shot.

I love this show, and would love to WIN the DVD. A great cast and some really interesting cases, I'd love to see the bloopers and listen to the commentaries!

Prior to stumbling across this review I had never heard of Castle. Now that I have I watched the first few episodes online and I am hooked. If I do not win the box set I may need to purchase it just to see if the series can keep its charm.

I have to agree, the show is great. The chemistry between Beckett and Castle is wonderful to watch and I love how they continue to build on the characters. It would be great to WIN the DVD for the first season and be able to watch them whenever I want.

I've really been enjoying Castle - both Season 1 and the first few episodes of Season 2. I hope it continues for quite a while and lots of other people have a chance to enjoy it. And I hope I win the first season DVD you are giving away...

I really want to WIN the Castle Season 1 DVD - I am from Nathon Fillion's hometown - Edmonton and watch faithfully every Monday night. Castle has great characters and interesting storie.

I would <3 to WIN the 1st season of Castle on DVD. It's truly one of the best well written shows that isn't well known. Castle is reminiscent of wicked banter done in classic TV shows and movies. It's one of my favorite shows. This season is already turning out to be a bombshell!!!

I agree with the reviewers assessment of the show, it deserves to be on air for a long, long time. I would love to win a copy of the DVDs to add to my collection. Nathan Fillion has become one of my favorite actors. I can't wait to see Castle every week just to see what's going to happen next.

I need to expand the Nathan Fillion section of my DVD collection! Firefly, Serenity and Slither are lonely. If I could Win season 1 of Castle, the "Fillionaire" & "Flan" part of me would be complete.

WIN! I agree that Castle could get lost in all the cop/mystery shows on TV now, but I wanted to watch it because of Nathan Fillion, and hopefully many others are doing the same. I thought he was awesome in Firefly and was glad to see that he found a new show. I think he's doing a great job - love his character! So I hope I win the DVD set so I can add it to my Nathan Fillion collection.

Did you see Nathan Fillion and the whole Dr. Horrible crew WIN an Emmy? So glad Castle came along to give Fillion another starring role. He is the reason I watch.

It was a great review.

Gotta love the clip(s): Fillion as Castle with his description of the dead model ... and the bit prior to the actual clip about who was murdered and was it gruesome was classic

Wish I'd seen more of the series during its first season run
